Everybody else in the Evangelical world is posting their top read articles, so I thought I’d swim against the current and post my 5 least read. There is noting scientific about this list since I don’t actually track any of that. Happy reading ‘ol sport!

5. “Fight The Nothing”

We must fight the temptation to feel only, rather than think.

We must fight the temptation to laugh only, rather than weep.

We must fight the temptation to feel good only, rather than lament.

4.  “Dream With Me Of Resurrection Day”

An old bard once sang, (Rich Mullins)

“Saints & Children we have gathered here to hear the sacred Story,

And I gladly bring it to you with my best rhyming & rhythm.”…

My Resplendent Bride had piercing green eyes, which betrayed everything she ever felt.

Her case manager explained the day she received her bone marrow transplant would be her new birthday.

Danielle was innocent; she was childlike. Always was. Always will be.

Her eyes lit up whensoever she spoke of her love for the holidays… and Italian Ice.

The prospect of having two birthdays filled those green eyes with contagious joy…

2.  “Living In The Valley Of The Shadow Of Death”

The Lord As Shepherd Means: The Lord Comforts.

Psalm 23:4

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Walk through the Dark Forest before your world fades to black…

1.  “One Year”

There was once a Resplendent woman. She was kind hearted, and she was sweet. While others are good at talking about God, she talked to God.
